Brian MacConnell is President of Steel City Capital Funding and previously served as Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit where he was responsible for the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.
Brian joined PNC Business Credit in 1997 as one of its founding members and oversaw the creation of over $6 billion in new client loans in support of middle market leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings.

As Executive Vice President of Steel City Capital Funding, David Mengel is responsible for managing the nationwide origination activities for cash flow, second lien and turnaround products.
David previously worked with PNC's Wholesale Bank businesses as the Group Business Manager for the exit/held-for-sale portfolio and served as the Segment Executive for the energy, metals and mining segment of PNC Capital Markets. Prior to joining PNC in 1998, he worked for Armco Inc., Chase Manhattan Bank and U.S. Steel in a variety of finance and operations roles.

Anthony Contrafatto is an Executive Vice President for Steel City Capital Funding with responsibilities for underwriting and portfolio management. Previously, he worked for PNC Business Credit as the Internal Controls Manager and oversaw field examination, operations and the serviced portfolio.
Prior to joining PNC in 2001, Anthony spent 28 years with the asset-based lending division of Mellon Bank. He has extensive experience in portfolio management, underwriting, credit, and managing asset-based transactions, including leveraged financings, LBOs, recapitalizations and reorganizations.
